His first meeting scooter at the Nurburgring in the year 2003 thrilled Korhan east. so much that he decided to build a scooter for extra meetings. He is now 25 years old and screwed for 10 years on motor scooters. "Last year when I happened on ebay a Ducati 1098 - saw headlights, I had the idea to build something that nobody has done before me, most tuners but to build their scooters, but have no particular issues.."
The conversion was complete in his Gilera Runner own work. "It was filled, welded and painted. All by myself, I have to paint anything or given mill."
Front and rear of the scooter has been completely rebuilt. The 1098 has been adjusted and mounted headlights. In addition, provided the trained toolmaker forth various milling and turning parts, adjusted the seat and took it with noble Alcantara. The interior has been cleaned-up and made the painting in 1098 look. Ofcourse I did not miss the sponsors stickers. An M-Fehling handlebar gives the impression of driving a motorcycle. The original tank was replaced by a 3 liter tank in the kart helmet compartment. The chassis has been sport. Front operates a Malossi F32 fork, rear shock absorber dampens now one Ohlins. A self-milled Raising kit lifts the rear of another. As a special highlight of the rear or neglect is a very rare Kiesler built Evo1 rim. The matching front-runner against the rim has been replaced by a Piaggio NRG.
